Meet Parker! You might remember his parents, Kelly and Doug. I am so grateful and honored they've let me come into their life to photograph such an amazing journey. You mean so much to me. Thank you so much from the very bottom of my heart.

Now, if you don't mind, I'm going to show off your new baby! These first two shots are in the hospital when Parker was only three days old. Then they took him home where I photographed him on his two week birthday. I love the Screamin' Demon pictures- he was so mad at me. Understandably. We were disrupting his sleep, swaddling, unswaddling, changing his diaper and practically making him do handstands. And no, I don't give my clients insulting nicknames- his parents came up with that one. :)

I love the next two. They're probably two of my favorites and since I couldn't decide on whether to post the color or black & whites, I posted both.

Knowing how much I love color, it's hard for me sometimes to convert them but I was on a rampage with this session. With infants, less really is more sometimes.

  10. Pam - these look awesome!! It is tough work to keep a newborn all sleepy and bundled-up and naked and happy during a, usually 2 hour, shoot ... right! Personally, I love the sleepy, awake, and screaming ... because it's all natural and part of their first week here. Great shots :)
